Recipe: Bloody Mary

60ml Vodka
120ml Tomato juice
15ml Lemon juice
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
4 dashes Tabasco
½ tsp Horseradish (optional)
Black pepper (freshly ground)
Salt

Prepare a large Collins or Old Fashioned glass by rimming with sea salt. Assemble everything in a shaker. Deal with the horseradish by squeezing out the liquid and discarding the solids – pinching between two teaspoons is a tidy way to do it. Shake over ice and single strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with a piece of celery cut to swizzle stick dimensions, the leafy portion providing aroma.
