What it is Pisco Mistral Distillery is located in Chile’s Pisco Elqui, a village in the Andes said to be the site of the first vineyards planted to make the spirit. Coming from a blend of pedro ximenez and muscat of Alexandria, only seedless and skinless grapes are used, which are macerated for four to six hours, fermented in stainless steel tanks for 12 days, distilled in copper alembic stills, and matured in American oak barrels.
What it tastes like It has a lemony aroma with notes of green apple, and tastes of white peach with some acidity and a dry finish. 40 per cent abv.
