Santosh Kukreti, formerly of theRitz Carlton Bar Macau – currently 48 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars – will serve six cocktails at Whisky & Words, including Gravity Clarity with scotch, ginger and honey, lemon and smoky whiskey, and Spice Trade, a blend of bourbon, vanilla, bitters, Indian spices and herb smoke.

Gin Mare’s global champion Summer Chen of Neon Pigeon heads to Bangkok’s Havana Social for a night of Mediterranean gin cocktails.

Zachary Connor de Git (Monkey 47 brand ambassador APAC) at The Edition (Shanghai and Ozone (Hong Kong)
Monkey 47’s APAC brand ambassador Zachary Connor de Git will spend one night at Shanghai’s The Edition in early March before heading to Ozone in Hong Kong’s Ritz Carlton – which claims to be the highest bar in Asia – at the end of the month.

Martin Hudak (Mr Black global brand ambassador) in Hong Kong and Singapore
Martin Hudak, who as well as being Mr Black’s global brand ambassador recently opened Maybe Sammy in Sydney, will lead two guest shifts in Hong Kong before launching Mr Black at Singapore’s Jigger & Pony.

Andrew Loudon and Jon Lee (Tippling Club, Singapore) at Bar Trigona (Kuala Lumpur)

The bar manager of Charlie Parker’s in Sydney will hop over to Hong Kong to serve drinks reflecting the Sydney cocktail bar’s concept, focused on native botanicals and minimalist drinks using modern techniques.

Vesper’s five year anniversary (Bangkok)
To celebrate five years, Vesper will be hosting it’s very own cocktail festival in collaboration with Diageo. Sydney’s Baxter Inn came in at 45 on 2017’s World’s 50 Best Bars list, and will travel to Macau to bring a taste of the sophisticated bar which features an extensive selection of top-shelf whiskies and classic cocktails.

A Whole Lotta Scotch with Fraser Campbell at Flagship

Jeremie Tan, The Wall SG’s bar and creative manager brings a taste of Singapore’s first whisky centric bar to Moon Bar in Bangkok’s Banyan Tree.

Hidetsugu Ueno (Bar High Five) at Jigger & Pony (Singapore)
The legendary Ueno-san of Japan’s best bar Bar High Five presents three Kin No Bi Gin cocktails using the gin’s four core expressions: Ki No Bi Gin; Ki No Bi Dry, Ki No Bi Sei, and Ki No Tea at Singapore’s recently relocated Jigger & Pony.

Shinichi Itoh (Oto, Manila) and Johnny Tsai TCRC (Tainan) at Tippling Club (Singapore)
Manila and Tainan’s finest head to Singapore for a shift entitled “Once upon a time with Glenfiddich”. Expect whisky drinks, of course.

Davide Sambo (Havana Social Club, Bangkok) and Jamie Rhind (The Bamboo Bar, Bangkok) at Vida Rica (Macau)
Two of Bangkok’s hospitality heroes, Davide Sambo and Jamie Rhind, will set up at the Mandarin Oriental Macau’s Vida Rica for one night to give Macau a taste of Thailand’s bar scene with a specially crafted cocktail menu.

Ryan Nightingale and Magnus Ribbing (Shady Acres, Hong Kong) at Wynn Palace (Macau)
Ahead of the opening of eagerly awaited Hong Kong neighbourhood wine and cocktail bar Shady Acres, Ryan Nightingale and Magnus Ribbing will be working with Dalmore as part of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants ceremony at Macau’s Wynn Palace. They’ll be serving a chocolate and vanilla Old Fashioned throughout the night.

Jamie Rhind (The Bamboo Bar, Bangkok) at Stockton (Hong Kong)
Jamie Rhind was part of the Artesian Bar team in London, where he was part of the team that got the bar to the top of the World’s 50 Best Bars list for several years. Now, he’s the bar manager of the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok’s The Bamboo Bar, which clocked in at eigth on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2018. He’ll be heading to Hong Kong for one night to serve drinks from The Bamboo Bar’s recently launched Compass menu.

Kae Yin AHA Saloon (Taipei) at Jigger & Pony (Singapore)
The Botanist Gin presents an AHA Saloon residence at Jigger & Pony, helmed by co-founder Kae Yin. Along with the Jigger & Pony team, Kae will present a special cocktail menu centred around island ingredients and characteristics.

Hong Kong takeover in Jakarta
The Union Group, the team behind Jakarta’s top bars (Loewy and Union Brasserie, Bakery & Bar, ranked 39 and 41 respectively in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2018) are shipping over the best of Hong Kong for a four day takeover from March 27 to 30 March. 12 bartenders from 8 award-winning Hong Kong bars will dominate Indonesia’s capital for one weekend.

Divyesh Chauhan and Josh Ivanovic (JungleBird, Kuala Lumpur) at Tippling Club (Singapore)
The JungleBird boys will be slinging tiki drinks in Singapore on a special night featuring polynesian food and guest tattoo artists from 8 Volts Singapore and Of Gods and Monsters, who will be inking for free.
