This cocktail was first featured in our story on honey in cocktails.
Makes one bottle – approximately ten drinks.
500ml Lightly peated whisky
80ml 2:1 sugar syrup
15ml Angostura bitters
10ml Peychaud’s bitters
Melt some food grade beeswax in a hot water bath and pour into a warm, empty 700/750ml bottle. Swill around the bottle until the interior is coated with wax then allow to cool. Batch all the ingredients and pour into the bottle. Seal and leave for at least a week before serving. To serve, pour over ice in a rocks glass.
