Swizzles are thought to have developed from the non-alcoholic switchel – a drink made with sugar and vinegar, something that Iain Griffiths has used to great effect in this drink.
25ml Bacardi Carta Blanca
25ml Bacardi Carta Oro
25ml Grapefruit juice
12.5ml Sugar syrup
4ds Fernet Branca
4ds Cider vinegar
Swizzle with crushed ice in a tall glass. Top with more crushed ice and garnish with a mint sprig and grapefruit twist.
