Register your bar by October 20 to participate in the global event.

Old Fashioned Week is back this November 1 to 10, and once again bartenders everywhere will be stirring up their own Old Fashioneds in celebration of one of the world’s favourite cocktails. This year the event will hit over 1,000 bars globally and features ambassadors from 13 international zones, including Bob Louison (Pussyfoot Saloon, Seoul) for South Korea, Max Traverse (Honi Honi Tiki Lounge, Hong Kong) for Asia.

2018 will see Old Fashioned Week partner with several brands, including Angostura bitters, Havana Club rum, Rhum J.M from Martinique, Monkey Shoulder blended Scotch malt whisky, Pierre Ferrand cognac, Toschi Amarena cocktail cherries and Woodford Reserve bourbon. Participating bars must use Angostura bitters and at least two of the featured brands in their Old Fashioneds, but beyond that, bartenders can get creative with other ingredients and spirits.

Show off your creations on social media using the hashtag #OFW18, and if you fancy your drink being crowned the Best Old Fashioned in the World, there’s a video challenge too. To enter, register on the Old Fashioned Week website by October 20.
