Fancy scrubbing up your tequila knowledge or new to the category? Patrón Tequila has teamed up with The Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT) – the organisation that enforces the laws that govern the tequila industry – to bring to you their education program called the Award T Diploma certification. So far, Patrón Tequila has delivered this course over 65 times across more than 30 cities, educating over 4000 people.

When is it?
With most travel at a standstill due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Patrón Tequila are offering bar industry professionals the chance to gain the CRT Award T Diploma for free on the mornings of September 21 and 22, 2020.

The four hour course is split over two days, with two hours on each day. See bottom of the article for timings across Asia.

How to register
To register, visit academiapatron.com/events/shanghai/2020-09-21 and fill in your details. 6. Tasting guidelines.

Testimonials
Jay Khan, owner of agave bar COA in Hong Kong which ranks on both Asia and the World’s 50 Best Bars at two and 49 respectively, has completed the course and says: “Tequila is one of the most misunderstood spirits and the Award T certification teaches bar industry professionals the fundamentals of tequila from certification to production, making it informative for beginners or a great refresher for those who already have awareness. Though I have spent years educating myself on tequila, it was great to refresh my knowledge and even learn some new things along the way.”
