The Bar Awards Singapore 2019 crowns Bannie Kang of Anti:Dote, Swissotel The Stamford as the Bartender of the Year.
Earlier this evening at Zouk (Clarke Quay), The Bar Awards crowned the city’s best and brightest talents and bars, including Anti:dote’s Bannie Kang, fresh from Glasgow after winning World Class Bartender of the Year 2019. The party was attended by a whole host of industry professionals all hoping to scoop one of The Bar Awards’ signature barrel trophies.
This awards featured the debut of mock-boyband, Whisky Dix (Jay Gray, Matthew Fergusson-Stewart, Sam Ng, Scott Fitzgerald and Zac De Git), performing a lip-sync rendition of the Backstreet Boys’ I Want It That Way to a tickled crowd. Once the opening shenanigans were over, MC Symphony Loo took to the stage to introduce the categories.
