Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2018 will be announced ahead of this year’s 2018 Singapore Cocktail Festival on the evening of 3 May at the Capitol Theatre, Singapore followed by the #50BestTalks at private members club 1880 on 4 May.
The invite-only panel discussion ‘Asia takes on the world’ will be chaired by 50 Best Group Editor William Drew and panelists include Philip Bischoff (bar manager, Manhattan, Singapore), Beckaly Franks (owner-bartender, The Pontiac, Hong Kong) and Vijay Mudaliar (owner-bartender, Native, Singapore). The panel will share their insights on the current and future development of Asia’s bar scene and how it compares in the grand arena, as well as their predictions on the shape of things to come.
