Distill Ventures will be sharing their brand building expertise at two weekend events.

If running your own distillery’s been on your career cards, or you’ve found a niche for a spirits brand of your own, these are the talks for you. Distill Ventures, the London-based spirits-focused accelerator that’s looking to fund, nurture and mentor the next generation of drinks entrepreneurs, will be hosting two seminars at the Singapore Cocktail Festival’s Village tent, and you’re invited.

The informal chat and Q&A entitled “Leveraging your unfair advantage” on Friday, March 17 at 4pm will see Distill Ventures’ co-founder Dan Gasper discuss industry trends and the opportunities for indie brands to gain an edge over the competition. Their appearances in the city will also offer budding brand owners a chance to suss out their ideas with the Distill Ventures’ team.

On Sunday, March 19 at 2pm, Gasper will lead a panel of experts for a talk, “Brick by Brick – Building a modern spirit business in Asia”. He’ll be joined by Spencer Forhart (Proof & Company, Crafty), Nusa Cana rum’s Sam Jeavons, and David Ong (The Curator Coffee and Cocktails, Edsa Beverage Design Group) when the quartet will delve deep into Distill Ventures’ 5 Bricks framework for building and growing sustainable drinks brands.
