Bar, brand and media personalities from all over Asia feature on 2023’s list.
Drinks International has released 2023s Bar World 100 – a list that recognises the bar industry’s most influential figures.
21% – only down by 1% from last year – of 2023’s Bar World 100 features some of the most prevalent personalities in Asia’s bar scene. First place in the list once again went to Monica Berg of Tayer + Elementary (London) for the fourth consecutive year.
Vijay Mudaliar of Native and Analogue in Singapore is the highest ranking personality for Asia at number five. He is closely followed by DRiNK’s very own Holly Graham, who remains in the top 10 ranking ninth, and Shingo Gokan of SG Group, Tokyo at fifteenth, who together make up Asia’s top three.
Two new entries from Asia include #85 Shuzo Nagumo (Mixology Salon, Tokyo) at 85 and Michito Kaneko (Lamp Bar, Nara) at 97, both from Japan.
