Southeast Asia’s conference and trade fair SEA Brew brings all things beer to Manila this year. By Holly Graham.

Now in its fourth year, and moving to a new city with each outing, SEA Brew 2018 is Southeast Asia’s first conference and trade fair for the brewing community. With the popularity of craft beer in SE Asia showing no signs of slowing down, the fair gives brewers and distributors insights into the latest processes and best practices in production and sales and distribution.

SEA Brew 2018 will run for two days from June 21 to 22 in Manila’s Edra Shangri-La hotel and will feature 28 workshops, over 20 speakers and 30 industry suppliers offering a taste of the region’s craft brews. Eight of the sessions will be hands on, allowing attendees to try out processes for themselves and this year’s event expects around 350 guests to network with, as well as round tables and panel discussions held by industry experts and leaders.

Speakers this year include Youichi Kiuchi of Hitachino Nest Beer, John Palmer of Palmer Brewing Solutions Inc and Paul Holgate of Holgate Brewhouse to name but a few. The program gives attendees opportunities to tour local breweries as well as “sensory sessions” and other experiences.
