This recipe was first published in our feature on low calorie Skinny Drinks.

A low-alcohol classic that’s more than 100 years old, thought to have been created by Louis Eppinger at the Grand Hotel in Yokohama, Japan, but now a popular drink on craft cocktail bar menus. It offers complexity, but with less alcohol (and less calories) for a delicious alternative to a Martini.

· 45ml Dry fino or manzanilla sherry
· 45ml Dry vermouth
· 2ds Orange bitters
· 2ds Aromatic bitters

Stir all the ingredients over ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass or coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.
